Our nephew Brody came to visit us last week. It was his first big trip away from home without his mom, dad, and sisters. Seeing the world through the eyes of a four-year-old is fun...and exhausting! It's always nice to have visitors because it gives us a chance to see all of the sights in our area. Here are a few of the things that we got to do.
Brody LOVES trains, so our first adventure included riding the rails on an old time steam engine. My mom made the mistake of telling Brody that we were going to "catch the train" to which Brody said, "You can't catch a train. It goes too fast."
The Crayola(R) Factory
The Crayola Factory was lots of fun. We got to see how crayons are made and create some neat projects.
The Philadelphia Zoo was the first zoo in the United States. We saw all of Brody's favorite animals and, of course, Brody road the zoo train. The real highlight was taking a ride in the zoo balloon. And with perfect timing, 3 trains went past on the tracks below while we were high in the air.
